From 21 April 2026 to 23 May 2026, the Language Preparatory School (LPS) at Tishk International University organized a series of professional development activities for academic staff, focusing on the effective use of digital tools in education. The activities aimed to enhance lecturers’ digital competencies and promote innovative teaching practices in higher education.
As part of these activities, Mr. Turgay Kucuk delivered a workshop and training session titled “How to Use Speech Accelerator in Microsoft Teams.” The workshop introduced practical techniques for utilizing speech acceleration features to support clearer communication and enhanced interaction in electronic learning environments. Participants were trained on how to effectively integrate these digital tools into online and blended learning settings to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
The session emphasized the importance of technology-enhanced teaching and continuous teacher training in modern education. Through hands-on demonstrations and practical applications, the workshop contributed to strengthening lecturers’ digital skills and encouraged the adoption of innovative approaches in higher education instruction.
