An academic year consists of the fall and spring semesters. The regular period of the fall and spring semesters, including the exam weeks, is 15 weeks at least. The Council may extend this time if necessary. The start and end dates and examination periods of each semester will be announced in the academic calendar determined by the Council.
No classes or exams are held on official holidays. But if it is necessary and proposed by the relevant unit with the School’s approval, education activities may be conducted on Fridays and Saturdays or other official holidays.
There are two levels in the Language Preparatory School, level 1 and level 2. Each level’s duration is about 14 weeks. Each level has almost the same criteria, four quizzes, midterm, and final.
