From 21 April 2026 to 23 May 2026, the Tishk International University Language Preparatory School (LPS) organized a workshop and training session titled “Using AI for Research Papers” as part of its professional development activities for academic staff in higher education.
The workshop aimed at highlighting the growing role of emerging technologies in academia and introducing effective ways of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools into academic research and writing processes. The session focused on how AI tools, including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, can support researchers in academic writing, literature review processes, and improving overall academic performance.
The workshop and training session were conducted by Recep Bilgin, who demonstrated practical applications of AI-assisted technologies in research activities. The session also emphasized the ethical and effective use of AI in education and explored technology-assisted scholarly practices that enhance research efficiency, develop academic skills, and contribute to improved learning outcomes.
