From 21 April 2026 to 23 May 2026, the Language Preparatory School (LPS) at Tishk International University organized a series of professional development activities for academic staff, focusing on the integration of modern technologies and innovative practices in higher education.
As part of these activities, Dr. Recep Bilgin delivered a workshop and training session titled “Using AI for Research Papers” for academic staff in higher education. The workshop highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in academic research and scholarly writing.
The session focused on how AI tools, including ChatGPT, can support researchers in academic writing, literature review processes, and the improvement of overall academic performance.
Participants explored practical applications of AI that enhance research efficiency, assist in organizing academic content, and contribute to the development of academic skills.
Emphasizing the ethical and effective use of AI in education, the training encouraged lecturers to adopt technology-assisted scholarly practices while maintaining academic integrity and critical thinking.
