From 21 April 2026 to 23 May 2026, the Language Preparatory School (LPS) at Tishk International University organized a series of professional development activities for academic staff, focusing on the integration of innovative technologies and effective teaching practices in higher education.
As part of these activities, Mr. Turgay Kucuk delivered a workshop and training session titled “How to Use Speech Accelerator in Microsoft Teams” for academic staff in higher education. The workshop focused on the effective use of digital tools to support communication and interaction in electronic learning environments.
The session introduced practical techniques for utilizing speech acceleration features in Microsoft Teams to promote clearer communication and enhance interaction during online classes and academic activities.
Participants explored methods for improving the efficiency of virtual learning environments and strengthening student engagement through technology-supported teaching strategies.
Emphasizing innovative teaching practices and continuous teacher training, the workshop demonstrated how digital tools can enhance student learning and contribute to improved learning outcomes, particularly in online and blended learning settings.
The training also supported the development of lecturers’ digital skills and encouraged the effective integration of educational technologies into higher education instruction.
