From 21 April 2026 to 23 May 2026, the Language Preparatory School (LPS) at Tishk International University organized a series of professional development activities for academic staff, aiming to strengthen digital teaching competencies and support innovative educational practices in higher education.

As part of the university’s professional development activities, Dr. Yunus Yildiz delivered a workshop titled “How to Give Assignments on Microsoft Teams,” focusing on effective digital practices in higher education. The workshop aimed to provide lecturers with practical guidance on designing, managing, and evaluating assignments through electronic learning platforms in order to enhance student learning and improve learning outcomes.

During the session, participants were introduced to practical strategies for creating assignments, organizing student submissions, monitoring academic progress, and providing feedback through Microsoft Teams. The workshop also explored methods for improving course management and strengthening communication between lecturers and students in online and blended learning environments.

Emphasizing the importance of teacher training in contemporary teaching environments, the session demonstrated how the structured use of digital learning tools can support efficient course delivery and contribute to improved academic performance. The workshop further enhanced lecturers’ digital skills and encouraged the effective integration of technology into modern educational practices.
